Empowering Women in Business
Tasmanian Women in Business Conference 2026
Join a community of ambitious women coming together to learn, share, and grow. Be inspired by incredible leaders, build meaningful connections, and gain insights to elevate your journey—both in business and in life.
We’re Returning in 2026. More Connection, More Conversations, More You.
After the incredible success of our inaugural event, we’re thrilled to return with a powerful two-day experience created to inspire, connect, and elevate ambitious women in business.
The Tasmanian Women in Business Conference isn’t just another business event—it’s a movement. Born from the desire to see more women supported, celebrated, and empowered to lead in their own way, this is a space for growth that’s real, grounded, and Tasmanian at heart.
This is the first event of its kind on the North West Coast—and it’s all about celebrating the women shaping our local business community. Whether you’re a solo founder, creative entrepreneur, small business owner, or leading within a larger organisation, this conference is for you. It’s for women who are ready to build meaningful connections, have honest conversations, and learn from those who are walking the talk.
We know business can feel lonely. We know many women juggle their dreams with responsibilities, doubts, and everything in between. That’s why this conference exists—to remind you that you’re not alone, and that your version of success matters.

What makes this conference different?
The Tasmanian Women in Business Conference isn’t your typical business event, and that’s entirely intentional.
This is a conference created by Tasmanian women, for Tasmanian women, with an emphasis on authenticity, community, and shared experience. Every speaker is proudly from Tasmania, from first-time speakers with powerful stories to seasoned professionals with practical insights. We believe every woman has something of value to share, and this event is designed to give a platform to a diverse range of voices and experiences.
We call it un-conferency because it breaks away from the traditional format. Instead of long, intense days packed with back-to-back talks, we’ve designed a gentler, more meaningful experience. Sessions run from around 9:30am to 2:00pm, recognising that energy, focus, and connection matter more than squeezing everything into a rigid schedule. We make space to connect, breathe, reflect, and really take in what’s being shared, without the overwhelm.
At the heart of the event is community. It’s about more than business, it’s about being inspired, building relationships, and finding the courage to show up fully. And for those who want an even deeper experience, our VIP ticket includes an intimate networking dinner on the first night, where speakers and a select group of attendees come together for rich, real conversations in a relaxed setting.
This isn’t about flashy stages or big names flown in from interstate. It’s about us, right here in Tasmania, learning from each other, celebrating each other, and growing together.

Kirsty Dryburgh
Social Media Expert
Kirsty is the founder of Social Bothy, where she helps tourism business owners get seen and booked on social media—without relying on third-party platforms or paid ads. She shows them how to turn Instagram into a sales tool, not just a space for pretty pictures.
Raised in the remote Scottish village of Plockton, Kirsty grew up in her family’s hotel and restaurant, giving her firsthand experience of the realities of seasonal tourism. From flipping rooms to managing guest check-ins, she knows the challenges small tourism businesses face.
After working in award-winning wineries, restaurants, and the corporate world, Kirsty created Social Bothy to offer practical, no-fluff support to small business owners. The name “Bothy” comes from Scottish shelters for hikers—a symbol of the safe, supportive space she provides her clients.
Since launching, Kirsty has helped over 500 small business owners grow with confidence, organically boosting bookings and building stronger online presences. While tourism is her niche, she also supports service-based businesses through coaching, VIP days, and social media management.

Mixch, also known as Aunty Mixch, is the founder of HEART.EARTH.DRUM. She is an international Indigenous teacher, ceremonial facilitator, Hawaiian cacao plant medicine carrier, rootworker, and heart meditation/Reiki Tummo-trained healer with over 15 years of experience.
